Cross Country Takes State

Our cross country program is one of the best in the state. With the coaching talent of Godfrey Siamusiye and Marla Richards, the girls and boys cross country teams competed on one of the hardest courses in Arkansas. Running in mud, the course was a length of 3 1/8 miles with up and down. Both girls and boys divisions brought home the 4A State Tournament titles, earning a spot in Shiloh Christian history. The Cross Country State Tournament took place in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
The Shiloh Testament Staff recently interviewed some of the boys and girls on the team. They were asked:
· What was the course like?
· How did you prepare for the race?
· Who was your competition?
· What did you place?
· What was it like to be a part of the team?
· How was your run?
· What do you think of Coach Godfrey?
Andrew Evans
· The course was the toughest I have ever run. It was muddy and we had to run up hill twice.
· I had some good pasta the night before, and we jogged right before the race.
