Isaac Foley: All Region Choir

Singing at Har-Ber High School at 7:30 on a Saturday morning doesn’t sound like the most fun event to attend, but one of our choir students was blessed with the honor of All-Region. Isaac Foley, Senior Choir member, competed with over a thousand other students from Norwest Arkansas. Prior to the Saturday’s competition, the students were given four pieces of music to study. Upon arriving to the audition the students were told which piece of music they would perform. All-Region is split up into sections of competition. Isaac competed in the bass 1 division.

When he got to Har-Ber, Isaac was told which parts of the songs he was to sing. Isaac didn’t have much time to practice the songs because he was one of the first to audition. The songs Isaac sang were: Psalm 43, John Saw duh Nubah, and Going up to Glory. After singing his songs in front of five judges, Isaac left Har-Ber knowing that he did the best that he could and now it was all up to the judges.

Isaac wasn’t told that he made all-region until Monday morning by Mr. Griffin. He was the only student from Shiloh to place. Isaac’s accomplishments gave him the opportunity to try out for All State Choir. However, Isaac will be attending the GME mission trip during the competition and will not be able to compete. Congratulations to Isaac from the Shiloh Testament!
